Dickies messenger bags? Are they big enough?

I want a black and white checkered dickies messenger bag. But idk, in pictures they seem kinda small. To owners, are they big enough for books? I want one for back to school. Thanks

If you have more than two books it'll be too small. they're long, but not very wide. You may be able to fit 3 smaller books in it with a note book, but that's about it. Also, the quality isn't super great, if you do pack too much in them they start to wear thin at the bottom corners and where the strap is attached.

I'm done with messenger bags I think, right now I use a Dickies messenger that isn't a laptop bag… what do you recommend?

this is hard cause they are both like the same exact pattern just diffent style. i mean honestly where i live messangers are alot more in style then regular backpack these days so i would say go for the messanger. but i dont know i kinda think the backpack looks better.
definitely backpack then b/c books will be balanced between your shoulders… Dickies and Jansport has nice colours this year…
